"Waimiro" is set adjacent to Te Haumi beach with its own small beach, Beachcomber Bay, steps from the unit door. The outlook is across to the Russell Peninsular. The beach is part of the Aotearoa national walkway and you can walk to Opua harbour or into Paihia township and Waitangi. Walking to Paihia along the beach is at low tide and an alternative route on the road at high tide - approx 15 mins. Drive to Paihia township in less than 5 mins.
